Question Logitech 510s Keyboard wire

Red White Green Black Black are my keyboard Usb connector wires. The wire is bad and needs replaced. I cant find a wire for the keyboard but I did find a wire for a Logitech 500 s game mouse but the wire order is different on the mouse usb connector its wires go Green White Red Black Black. Can I use the mouse wire to replace my keyboard wire or will it not work any ideas or suggestions? Thanks.

Sure, you just have to solder the connections properly.

If you can't detach the cable from the hardware without taking it apart, you have to desolder and resolder something.
