I did a ton of research lately on desk chairs. If you're job requires sitting at a computer for a long time, a good chair is worth the money. $1000 - $1500 was too high for me. I heard about Autonomous through Jays2Cents YouTube. For $420 I got the Kinn chair, and I love it. It doesn't have a single piece of foam, and its insanely comfortable! It was easy to assemble too. I bet this chair is top tear though.

You can buy used Aerons all day long for $300-400. Best chairs on the market and the pinnacle of corporate excess in the early 2000’s.
