Logitech c920 usb error..

Hi All,

I purchased a logitech c920 and it's been working fine for a few months but just recently I've had issues with it. Everytime I shut my computer down and back on and log in it shows up as usb not recognized or error with it. If I remove it and replug it in it works fine, but only on shutdown or restart. If I don't do either of those the computer continues to work with my webcam completely fine.

I tried switching ports, same problem. I then put in two usb flash drives and shut the computer down and back on to see if maybe it was a usb port problem but the flash drives showed up just fine even on restart/shutdown.

Does anyone know what the issue may be? Thanks in advance and hope everyone is doing well!

I had exactly the same problem,a solution that i found is to install the video usb drivers for the camera instead of logitech ones,also i installed the audio usb drivers instead of logitech ones.

update:A permanent solution that i found is to disable xhci support in bios,unfornunately also with the usb generic drivers problem came back just it didnt make it too often
