Hello everyone,
I just got Logitech Wave keyboard, without receiver, I'm having a problem finding it.
It is logitech usb mini receiver.
My question is:
Does any receiver from this Keyboard model will work with my keyboard?
Is there any way for me to use this keyboard or just to throw it in a dumpster?
Thanks.

Solution
It is possible that some of the early models used a different setup.

The problem here is Logitech has different wireless standards(nano and other sticks I think are 2.4 as is unifying as far as I know. The also had FastRF at 27mhz[my personal favorite because 2.4 has not been great for me in the past]) over the years and the wave is old enough. I have the corded on and love it.

You may be able to give your part number to Logitech to get a new receiver.
I think you will need the Logitech Unifying receiver. it works multiple devices at the same time.

Now the problem is many users who are selling them on the net seem to sell them for half the price of the keyboard/mouse combo. It takes away the bonus of the free keyboard to some extent.

The thing is, I already bought unifying receiver, but it seems that the keyboard is not supported. There is no unifying icon on the keyboard.
Logitech k350 keyboard is newer model that looks exactly the same as my Logitech Cordless desktop wave. Basically the are identical.
K350 supports unifying technology, but Wave doesn't. Wave is using Logitech mini usb receiver.
I heard that Wave keyboard is paired with it's receiver at the factory, and once the remote receiver is lost, there is no hope.
I don't know if that is true, sounds stupid and ridiculous 🙂

I have that model that came with the Cordless Wave combination (keyboard plus mouse), with a Unifying symbol on the bottom sticker. Is this the keyboard sold separately? Either way, have you tried to connect using the software liked above?

Solution
I've tried to connect it with unifying receiver, but it won't work. I have installed unifying software, set point, watched and read tutorials, and according to others, it should be easy, plug and play. Newer Wave models have sliding 'on/off' button on the back, but my keyboard only have little red 'connect' button.
My keyboard didn't come with the mouse.
I'll try to contact Logitech, but I doubt they will help me, since the keyboard is older model.
Unless somebody knows how to attach usb cord and make it work :).
Thanks people for your help!

One gay offers me receiver from LX700 Logitech wireless keyboard and claims that will work 100% with my keyboard. Can it work?
Or he just want to juice money from me for old, useless receiver.
