I just got 3 Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboards, 2 of them work fine and show up during POST on the same PC. The 3rd lights up, and the LCD works, but not detected during POST.

I plugged it into a different machine already booted up and it was detected by windows and the LCD is getting news updates, the lights come on, and the gaming software detects it, but the keys do not work.

According to the logitech software, this model does not support Firmware updates.

Any ideas on whats causing this?

Thanks!

Yeah, have a quick look in the bios of the motherboard.

Look for and option that says enable detection of USB legacy devices.
Check to see if the option is enabled if it exists. If not enabled enable it.

Also depending on the motherboard and if it is Uefi capable.
And has an advanced set up menu option, select it.

Look for CSM mode.
Make sure it is enabled, or set it to manual.

For hardware detection set the detection order to Legacy OP Rom \ Uefi
if it exists in the bios of your motherboard.

Don`t forget to save the changes before you exit your bios setup.

See if the G15 is detected then.

If the G15 is still not detected, then it could point to a faulty keyboard or due to a broken wire from the usb connector into the keyboard it`s self.

Hi, Thanks for the response. It's not the motherboard since 2 out of 3 of the keyboards work fine and the 1 keyboard thats having trouble is having the same trouble on 2 machines. I am hoping someone can tell me if there is something I am missing about the keyboard like a setting or something.
