Logitech G35 problem on Vista

So I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask but i don't know where else to look... so recently my headset (Logitech G35) has been having issues and now my computer wont recognize it plugged in??!? i'm getting power and i know this because i can turn my mute light on and off.. but the software doesn't show that its plugged in.... PLEASE HELP!!! thank you!!!

(update) tried reinstalling the software, now they show up but no sound through the headset???

Alright so after maybe an hour i fixed the problem, I'm not sure if this a "for sure" fix but its working right now... what you need to do is re install the software and when it says to unplug your headphones, unplug them and then plug them back in while it is installing, then do a quick restart and unplug and plug them back in... this worked for me hope it works for you all!
