Logitech G430 7.1 Channels

I want to get the Logitech G430 but I don't know if it is Virtual Surround, or "True" Surround with 7.1 full channels vs just stereo. If it is not True surround then are there any cheap True surround gaming headsets you would suggest? Thanks.

Its virtual, just like 99% of surround headsets these days, there are true surround sound however they are expensive. Virtual surround sound is getting pretty damn good and most people would have a hard time telling the difference on a quality headset.
