So this all started after i installed and started playing battlefield 1, the g500 would disconnect and then reconnect, it never happened before i started playing bf1 and now it does it in all games, on another note i got mega BSOD too after i started playing bf1 and had to reinstall windows but anyway ive tried changing usb ports and altering the power settings no nothing so far has worked.

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include the culprit system's full specs. Please list them as:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Peripherals:

Since the issue is with your USB driven mouse, have you made sure your chipset/USB drivers are all up to date? On another note, have you made sure your motherboard BIOS is up to date? If you're on a Microsoft Windows OS, open Device Manger and see if any (of your) device is/are flagged with a yellow exclamation mark. If so uninstall the device and reinstall the appropriate drivers for them. Now, onto the peripherals, have you made sure you're on the latest version of Logitech's Gaming Software suite? If so and yet experiencing the issue, uninstall and reinstall it(provided your BIOS, chipset and USB drivers are up to date).

how long have you had you g500? I use to own a g500 but eventually the wires on the inside bent and twisted breaking the mouse and stuff like whats happening with yours was the start of it. If you followed what the Moderator said above than I suggest trying contacting logitech if it is a new mouse.
