Hey I was following a youtube guide to install a driver to allow my PS4 controller to work on windows and misclicked and ended up replacing my mouse driver.
now it isn't working and I've tried unplugging it, restarting the computer and even system restore but it isn't working 🙁

This is the video in question.

Basically at 2:50 when he selects "wireless controller" I accidentally just hit the top item on the list, which was my logitech g502 mouse and I have no idea how to make it work again. I've tried downloading and installing the driver from logitech's website and STILL nothing
Any idea what I can do?

If you have not already done so, start by uninstalling the PS4 controller "work on windows" driver. Which Windows OS?

Also make sure that that driver did not install any other programs/applications/crapware as often can happen during software installs. Uninstall thoses programs as well.

Run CCleaner or some similar utility to mop up after the uninstalls. You may also need to clean the registry. (Be sure to back up everything beforehand.)

Then start over with the mouse driver software install. Again verify that you have the correct driver for your mouse and system. Do a new download just in case the original download was somehow corrupted.

Make note of any warnings, error codes, installation messages that may provide...
