Question Logitech G502 quality problems

So I got a new Logitech G502 proteus spectrum for only 81$ CAD (54% off) on newegg. I was very exited. However once it came I noticed that the box had definitely been opened and the pads on the bottom seemed a little used. Everything else fine though. UNTIL I started using it. Now everything for the most oart is ok but I am noticing that it is missing scrolls. So ill scroll once and it wont do anything. This is a big deal for me because I use the scroll wheel to build in fortnite and I got really got at it and this is messing it up a bit. I also notice that it sometimes skips when aiming. It is like when you are playing on a table and it stops registering for a second like it is stuttering a bit. Now I haven’t tried to use another mouse pad yet but I want to know if this is a g502 mouse ting or if I got maybe a used bad mouse and if I should return for another one?
