Hi, i am interested in getting the G502 however i am having a small issue in the posistioning of it

I currently have an mx518 and i really like how comfortable it is and that i have a place for my thumb to rest however im looking to upgrade so that i can get more buttons while still having a place to rest my thumb that's comfortable

Reason im asking on peoples thoughts is i want to see how people who used a similar mouse to mine transferred over to the 502. any feedback on the mouse would be great thanks!

The G9x felt more like a palm grip type mouse, and I found it incredibly comfortable. The G502 is definitely different, but it's still comfortable nonetheless. I used to be able to play hours on end with the G9x, could only do about 45 minutes with the Roccat, and now with the G502 I feel as though I can play hours on end again.

I think it highly depends on your hand. I never owned a 518, but the size of the G502 is nice. I was using a G9x for the longest time, switched to a Roccat Kone Pure Optical, and used that for a few days; the mouse too small and caused my hand to cramp up with moderate use. Switched to the G502 after that and I love the feel of the mouse. The fact that it has the best sensor on the market currently is definitely a plus as well.

looking at the g9x it had a lot of space for your thumb side of the mouse, does having the space taken away on the g502 effect you at all?
