I've only had this mouse for about a month and it was charging fine and holding the charge up until the past week. It now states that it's fully charged when wired but as soon as I remove the wire it flashes red indicating a low battery and a notification tells me to charge the mouse. The Logitech gaming software also displays a fully battery when wired and drops to 20% as soon as I pull the wire out. Anybody have an idea as to why this has started happening?

Thanks in advance 😉

Solution
The only logical explanation can be that the battery responsible for holding onto the charge has failed or the internal charging mechanism/circuitry has failed/is failing. It may be a good idea to contact your seller/Logitech and inform them of the issue. In the mean time you can try and uninstalling Logitech's software suite and reinstalling it to see if the issue is alleviated.

On another note, have you made sure your motherboard BIOS as well as the USB/chipset drivers are up to date? Speaking of motherboard's, can you please pass on your full system's specs inclusive of your OS?
