Hi guys,
So I was thinking of buying the Logitech G933. They seem great on paper, but after scrolling through some forums, apparently the surround doesn't work with Windows 10 (which I have) and you have to use razer software to fix it but the quality isnt 100%, and also that they have a 5 minute auto-shutdown problem, which sometimes doesn't work right and turns off even if there is sound, and sometimes they can even stop working completely.
So I was wondering, are these really any good to get, or should I go with some like the Corsair Void, or even Kingston's Cloud 2.

Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks

i'd honestly probably choose the kingston hyperx revolver. seems like it got the best marks and i've read other really positive reviews on it. *it's cheaper*. has "technically" better sound quality (although sound quality is mighty subjective) and they said it was the most comfortable (also highly subjective).

i'm not sure what you mean that surround isn't working with windows 10. i have a cheapo pair of superlux hd668b headphones and surround works just fine on them with windows 10. it depends on the game you're playing. almost all the headsets in that review i posted are strictly stereo headphones mean they only have 2 drivers...one for the right ear and one for the left...which is fine and you can experience virtual surround just...
check out maximum pc/ pcgamer's latest article they did. it was a 23 headset roundup and the 933 was tested. http://www.pcgamer.com/we-tested-23-mainstream-gaming-headsets-to-find-the-best/1/. has a pretty decently flat response curve which is what you want to look for for detailed, balanced sound.

p.s. they used a $50,000 headphone testing platform to take these measurements.

That's actually a really helpful page. So you would recommend the G933? I mean I can live with them sounding a tiny bit off to get them to work with the razer software, thought some have said the surround has worked in games anyway ill have to see myself, and I can see how the auto-shutdown goes. I can always return them.
