Logitech Gaming Software not detecting G433s because they are listed as Speakers under Realtek

Not sure if this is the right thread, but I've been trying to get my Logitech G433 headset to get detected by Logitech Gaming Software. I believe the reason to why it isn't being recognized is it's listed in playback devices under Realtek's output instead of a Logitech headset. I've tried everything I could think of including reinstalling drivers, not allowing the output to be controlled by applications, and even went as far as disabling Realtek. None of these things ended up helping my issue, and I couldn't find any information on people having this issue. I also found that my friend with a Corsair headset was having the same issue, so I knew it wasn't something with Logitech or my headset in specific. If anybody else had this issue and had fixed it, please let me know!

if you are using the USB DAC (and you should to get 7.1) then it won't be using the Realtek and you might want to change the default to the usb.
