Logitech Gaming Software Windows 8.1 compatibility?

I've had a long history of issues with Logitech Gaming Software causing Windows sleep failures and BSODs. That was several months ago. Now after several months without using it, I decided to test the latest version on an old Windows 7 PC and sleep mode worked fine on it. I then installed it on Windows 10 on my PC and it works fine on that when using only the keyboard for profiles and performance monitoring display. However, when I installed it on my Windows 8.1 tablet, even with no peripherals connected, when I try to put the device to sleep, it immediately wakes back up. While the latest version of the software runs fine on Windows 10, it still seems to have issues on Windows 8.1. I don't want to install it on my Windows 8.1 drive and be faced with more lockups and faults which could cause corruption on that OS. Anyone else having any issues with the recent versions of LGS on Windows 8.1? Should I just leave it off my Windows 8.1 drive and keep it on my Windows 10 drive only?

i use a logitech g300 and havent fased any issues on win8.1 and even with win10. i works great for me :)

How long have you used it for? Versions released earlier this year and prior have wrecked all sorts of havoc for me on Windows 8.1. How could you be sure that it will work without BSODs, crashes during sleep, etc.? I don't want to mess up my Windows 8.1 drive by installing software that will cause corruption and burnups.
