Logitech gaming software won't detect g27 racing wheel

I have a Dell alienware aurora r6 with Windows 10. Windows will detect the g27 correctly but the gaming software won't detect anything. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, ran the wheeldriver cleaner, updated drives but nothing seems to work for me. Should also state that this is my first pc so I'm still at the bottom of the learning curve. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I've been trying to get this to work correctly for days.

Update: can't get steam to recognize controller either when I try and go in the big picture settings. It's still detected as g27 racing wheel in the control panel under devices and printers.

Are you using the 5.10.127 version of the software? Logitech states that wheel support Win 10. Maybe check with their support.
