So i had been using a logitech m215 mouse in windows 8 for a while and a month or so after i could upgrade to win10 i did, no problems at first but after a couple of updates my left click stopped working well. I did some research on the logitech site and according to the site the m215 was not compatible for win10 so i switched to the m187 which was said compatible with win10, and it was fine at first but then the same thing happened and the left click stopped working. Every time my PC updates the left click works again but fairly quickly deteriorates. I have retested the mice on another WIN 7 pc and the left click work fine. Any help?

There is a known case of peripherals either gaining support or loosing such while on Windows 10. The quick workarounds to these sort of issues if they've cropped up after a mandatory windows update is to perform a system restore to a point prior to when the issue cropped up but it often leads to an unresponsive unit/machine. You can try a repair install and see if the issue is averted though the last suggestion I'd give is to reinstall your mouse drivers while under compatibility mode as it seems there is a miscommunication with the device and the drivers while on Windows' latest platform.

The Logitech M187 seems to have support up to Windows 10. As for the other unit(Logitech's M217) I'd suggest...

As for the other unit(Logitech's M217) I'd suggest heading over to your Device Manager and scoping if any device is flagged with a yellow exclamation mark or an error report. If you do then uninstall the device and rescan for hardware changes/reboot system.

Compatibility mode:
Right click installer>Properties>Compatibility Tab>Windows 7/8 [from the drop down menu]

Judging by the mouses I'm going to assume you're on a laptop. Can you please pass on your make and model number for your unit? Furthermore are you sure your BIOS and chipset drivers are up to date?
