In the beginning..
I bought several mice from amazon as i usually do, used each for a while, and sent back the ones i didn't like, after this process i was left with an MX518, a mouse that i still have to this day, and still works flawlessly after years. After a while Logitech replaced that mouse with the G400s, it had the same shape and as far as i can see from 1000's of hours of use, a perhaps updated sensor (?) and material changes. Again i have tried other mice, but i have relatively large hands, and most mice are too small or have such an aggressive shape that it makes it really uncomfortable to hold (see the logitech g502 for this)
So as much as my g400s is still going strong, i know it will one day break, and up to now it has been discontinued for a while and Logitech still hasnt brought out a replacement to the g400s, it doesnt really make sense to me why they wouldnt make a new one with the same shape, as enough people clearly liked the mx518 to warrent making a replacement, and enough people liked the g400s.. soo why not make a new one?
What im trying to say is this; If Logitech don't make a replacement mouse to the g400s with the same amazing shape and simplicity, do you guys have any recommendations on similar mice, or even places that sell spare parts? I've been inside the mouse a few times, mainly to clear out all the debris and dust that settles on the mouse wheel and circuitry, and from what ive seen everything looks good, but idk for how much longer. If you happen to be someone high up in logitech, please do me a favour and remake this mouse, cheers <3
