I use LogiOptions to add keybinds to mouse buttons.
And the EngineLog.txt in the C:\ProgramData\Logishrd\Unifying folder shows this -->

re enable Unify but leave everything else off, see if it still loses track of anything or pops up, as its possibly a conflict with other software.

I have had my keyboard for 4 months, and my mouse for 1 week.
The problem started when I bought my mouse.
I have 2 harddrives on my computer with Windows 10. So I can boot up as "My setup" or "My Nephews setup"
Both windows installations have same problem with Unifying since I got the new mouse.
Could my new mouse somehow be defect ?

that would be the cause then, try using a different mouse and see if it happens.
try using that mouse on another PC and see if it happens there,
I think you need to rma mouse and get a replacement.

I can't tell if the options software offers firmware updates or not, you might be able to update software on mouse somehow, or it could just be a bad mouse. Might need to contact Logitech.
