linkAfter installing LogiOptions, go to C:\ProgramData\Logishrd\LogiOptions\Unifying And rename or delete the Unifying folder. That worked for me, and the LogiOptions does work fine without Unifying, no errors.
Is that software necessary?Hi there, how do I prevent Logitech Unifying software from randomly starting up.

it appears to me that one of those 2 is not responding to the software and that is why it starts up randomly.
working out which it is, might require using a spare kb or mouse just to isolate which one it is. The errors shouldn't happen if the device isn't attached.
that would be the cause then, try using a different mouse and see if it happens. The problem started when I bought my mouse.
