Has anyone seen a comparison between the Logitech cordless freedom optical mouse and keyboard combo and the Microsoft wireless optical desktop. If you haven't maybe THG should do one.

Bah. No question Logitech. To start, Logitech is one of the best external PC component company I know. In fact, I have two joysticks from them, the Elite Keyboard (features in the CF), one of the best mouses out there- the MX 700 (sooo cool), speakers from them...the list goes on.

Logitech's keyboard has a little more custimization available (with function keys) and has a lot mor features to. The mouse in the package is nice and sleek, but if u can afford the extra 10-20 bucks get the MX 700 instead and the keyboard alone.

Its mad good

I agree 100% with Rynthar, and I also use the Logitech cordless freedom pro set-up.. I love it, although I do go thru some batteries for the mouse.. I guess my only real complaint would be that theres no indicator light to let you know if caps lock or no. lock is on or off...

Logitech usually just waits for some product to come out, and then they copy the idea, but improve the product's quality/performance.

I have <A HREF="http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm?page=products/details&CRID=486&CONTENTID=5061&countryid=18&languageid=1" target="_new">this</A> Logitech combo. Is that it? It's similar I reckon. Excellent kb & mouse.

My Dad dad has a Logitech MX 700 and an MS Office Keyboard. Again, excellent kit.

I recommend you do a little homework, and get the kit suited to <b>you</b>.
