Hi Guys

My long serving Logitech Z5500D's has sadly died.

I am looking for a replacement that would hopefully be able to give me the same kind of quality.

I am unsure if I want to stick with 5.1 or just go for 2.1 as they are only used on my computer for watching movies and listening to music.

Can anyone give me some ideas of what new system I would go for.

Solution
Well first you need to decide if you want to have 5.1 or 2.1.

For 2.1 the Klipsh ProMedia are good, for 5.1 the Logitech Z906 is the replacement to your set.

If you want some better music quality but with a bit less bass you can get a 2.0 or a higher end 2.1 set, depends on your budget, look at Edifier and Swan models, Kanto YU6, pair of JBL JBL Professional 305P, and so on.
