Hello everyone.

I know this question has been asked a number of times on this forum, but none of the solutions is working. After connecting my wireless receiver it does show up with a warning in Device Manager. I then updated the driver to XBox 360 Peripherals (both Controller and Wireless Receiver) after which the system confirmed that it has been successful. After clicking on OK, my list of devices in the Device Manager refreshes, but the XBox Controller does not appear. It simply shows the F710 gamepad but states that there are no drivers (with a question mark). I've tried switching the switch at the back to D and X and I've tried using different ports on my PC.

I even downloaded and installed the latest XBox controller drivers as well as the Logitech Gaming Software and still no luck.

To add, it worked on my old system (MSI 7788 with i5-3470).

Current system.

CPU: Ryzen 5 1600
MB: A320 Pro MAX
RAM: 16GB DDR4 3200 (Vengeance)

Lastly, I tried using the Logitech Connect App, where it tells you to remove the receiver, remove gamed pad battery and then reconnect all. The app says it is connected, the Device Manager remains the same (with the question mark).

I also tried a USB3 hub (XCeed 4 port) and it still doesn't work. On this as well, when I connect external HDD or USB Flash Disk, it keeps connecting and reconnecting and I have changed all the power options under power management and under Device Manager.

The components are all brand new (bought them last week). I just kept my case, 256GB SSD and 1TB HDD with all my games on. I formatted the SSD and reloaded windows from scratch, and now I'm left scratching my head.

Everything else works fine.

Regards,
Willem

Solution
Hi again. I actually got it working. The only thing I did differently than the other 20+ times is to insert new batteries in the controller. So here's the final step.

-Remove the wireless receiver from the USB port on your PC.
-Place new batteries into the controller.
-Access Device Manager and look under "Other".
-Rightclick on the "F710 Driver" and select "Uninstall Device".
-Ensure the switch at the back of the controller is set to "D".
-Plug the wireless receiver in again and wait.
-It till install drivers for "Rumble Pad".
-It will seem as though it is done but wait a few minutes. Another bubble will pop up stating the PC needs to be restarted to complete the setup.
- Access Device Manager again and look under "Human Interface...

- Access Device Manager again and look under "Human Interface Devices". You should see RublePad.

USB Device kept disconnecting.
Well, I realised that the "Generic USB Hub" and the "SuperSpeed USB" was loaded when I had my old 3.0 Hub (well, that's what the label said, but it wasn't.
I then unplugged my new USB Hub, uninstalled all USB devices that contained the word "hub". Plugged the new USB 3.0 (genuine) hub in and "et voila". It works!
NOTE: I actually did this fix before I tried the controller fix - not sure if it made a difference. I ended using one of the ports for my receiver.

I hope this might help others.

Thanks.
Willem
