I've got Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, have only one account on it(Home Desktop) and when i login, i am 100% sure i type the right password with my keyboard but it always says its wrong. I know im right because when i type with the "onscreen keyboard" I login. And as u can see from what'ive written on this thread my keyboard isnt the problem either...Any thoughts/ideas? how could i allow myself to login with my material/real keyboard?

Also i hate how the computer read all the shit when i try to bring the onscreen keyboard up, how do i turn that off? its not one of the checkboxes above which is related to onscreen reading, because i always untick that and click apply, but she keeps reading the keyboard tickbox >.<

Thnx for ur time.

Logon, change the password to something else, like a single letter, try again. If it's not he keyboard, it should fail that way also. If that works, try to make it complex and keep going till it fails, then see what the last step you did was. If you have a # in your password, you could have the numlock off and are typing on the keypad, I have seen that MANY times.

I wanted to say so badly that it deffinetly wasnt the keyboard :S but so i tried what u said anyway just to come here as a badass and back it up... that wasnt the case. basically i typed my password anywhere just to see it, like in a notes app i got for example, and it displayed my password perfectly. so i was pretty sure it wasnt the keyboard. My keyboard is a miniature type with the number keypad sharing some letters into the keyboard, which is turned off or on with the number lock. i also tested this,a nd turned my number lock on and off before and nothing changed, but when i was trying what u told me to do, i found out that only the letters that shared numbers werent loging in. turns out number lock is turned on by default, so i always need to turn it off(i swear i tested this a lot) thnx for the reply guys
