Question Long bolts stuck on CPU cooler stands

Hi, having a bit of a problem here. I have a cooler master hyper 121 Evo, I recently took it out to clean it buy im having problems putting it back in. When I screwed the arms off to detach the cooler from the CPU. The long bolts that were originally placed on the motherboard detached with it. So the screws now have the long bolts on them and it's very difficult to place the cooler back on. The bolts don't seem to want to come off the screws. Anyone have any idea to solve this issue?

I'm not sure if this is meant to happen, but as I was unscrewing the screws the long bolts came off as well, which made things very difficult, including putting the back panel on. It would be much easier if I could remove the long bolts and place them on the motherboard independantly

Put some wd-40 on it, grip the standoff with a pair of pliers and turn the screw.

Yup. Use some pliers or preferably the correct sized wrench on the standoff and then use a screen driver to loosen the screw.
