Recently my PC has been taking a really long time to boot so I did some basic google searches and found Windows performance analyzer and here's what I got but I have no idea what to do with the info it gave me and I don't know how to fix the issue with how long the PC takes to boot up

Things I've tried that didn't fix it:
chkdsk
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
sfc /scannow

Copy what is on the 80GB disk to the 1TB disk and unplug the 80GB disk.
Reboot and make sure everything works.
Run a chkdsk with the R option on both WD disk.
Look at the logs to see what it found.
I cant try it at the moment but when i get the chance I'll try it and send the results!

Ok download this tool https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/procmon then follow the instructions here how to use it https://www.msigeek.com/6231/how-to-enable-system-boot-time-logging-using-process-monitor-tool You can then upload the log file to look at, or you

can look for entries where winlogon.exe or some other process is constantly accessing specific files repeatedly but is unable to do so because of some type of error/failure.
I ran the tool and got the file but it's too big to send
I got the filter to only show stuff related to winlogon.exe but I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to be looking for

is it just as slow in safe mode?

  1. go to settings/update & security/recovery
  2. under advanced startup, click restart now button
  3. this restarts PC in a blue menu
  4. choose troubleshoot
  5. choose advanced
  6. choose startup options
  7. click the restart button
  8. choose a safe mode (it doesn't matter which) by using number associated with it.
  9. Pc will restart and load safe mode
