Long-Running Unpredictable Hangs

For a good 3 years now, I have had this one PC that for whatever reason, hangs at somewhat random times. At some point, the computer will begin to freeze, halting all methods off access before allowing some input then continuing this cycle. High-performance programs, however, do expedite the process, making this machine nearly unusable. I have also determined that the power supply, graphics card, and secondary memory are not at fault. Please assist me with my issue if you can--it will be much appreciated.

Below is the current specs for my PC:
CPU: i5-4570
OS: Windows 10
Graphics Card: GTX 760
Motherboard: ASRock H97 Pro4

"Is the UEFI latest version? Are temps and fan speeds all in correct range? Has Windows been reinstalled in attempt to fix? Are there any logs from times around the hang in event viewer?"
The first 3 have been applied and an error has finally surfaced in the event view; the display driver nvlddmkm is causing the crash with an error code of 4101.

The reason why the GPU was ruled out was due to the following reasons:
A. Different graphics cards, even AMD's, had no effect on the issue.
B. The error that is occuring now is slightly different to the one before. The current freeze, unlike the previous error, is recoverable. So thank you for solving the first problem.

I apologise for the incorect conjecture.
