[SOLVED] Long term effects of gpu idling at 55c for lets say 8 hours a day?

My gtx 1080 idles around 50-55c and my pc is on most of the day. Should I set up a fan curve? Is this something that will reduce the lifespan and performance of my card? Also as a side note I clean my case regularly with duster but literally after a couple of hours there are white specs and stuff right back on the card. I heard some things can concentrate heat on your gpu and cause issues, is this anything to worry about?

55c is fine for idle temp for your gpu

Running most of the day will decrease lifespan , but 55C is not bad at all to run for longer periods. Max temp is around 94C and your not near that.

Ignoring other things like random failure, you wouldnt notice the difference. The card will be outdated before 55C kills it.

No not all , temps are decent and it's not like it's mining 24/7.
