Hi All,

I am from India, I have recently upgrade the Motherboard, Cabinet and Power Supply.

The 8 Pin power connector and PCI-E 6 pins power connector Cables coming from the Power Supply are not long enough, As i have recently purchased the Power Supply i cant change it.

Below is the configuration

Motherboard : MSI 990FXA-GD65
Processor : AMD Athlon XII 270
RAM : Kingston 2GB DDR3 RAM (KVR1333D3N9/2G)
HDD : Seagate Barracuda 500 GB and Seagate 160 GB
Graphics Card : Sapphire 5450 2GB
Power Supply : Corsair CX600 600W
Cabinet : Antec X1-T

Please advise, Thanks in Advance.

The 6300 and 6350 are about the same, though the 6350 is a bit better quality as it's binned higher. Like chris987 said above, you can easily adjust the clock rate of the 6300 up, as long as the chip you receive is up to it.

About the GPU, either will work just fine with this setup, and if you can afford the 280x, definitely go for that, as it will last longer and perform better. If not, the 270x is still a great 1080p gaming GPU.

In the next couple of months i will upgrade the Graphic Card to 280X or 270X

ok the, as said extentions will be fine, make sure what you get is long enough! also make sure you get enough of them since 280x requires 1x6+2pin and 1x6pin , as for the 270x requires 2x6pin cables! also make sure the gpu upgrade will be followed also by a cpu one cause athlon x2 will severely bottleneck any of these cards. your ram will need upgrade also. at least another 2gb in order to be playing current gen games!

Below are components which i would upgrade in the near future.

Processor : AMD FX-6300
Graphic Card : SAPPHIRE R9 270X / R9 280X
RAM : Corsair Vengeance DDR3 4 GB (1600MHz) x 2
CPU Cooler : Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

since you have a full wired psu, extentions is the only option! try to make it an FX8320 in order for the set up to be fairly balanced!

well the price differance isnt that big and worth the 2 extra cores. since he is aiming for overclocking, he will get better results and be more future proof. anyway, even 6300 will suffice.

The 2 extra cores are useless in gaming, as games just recently started taking advantage of 4 threads. The 6300 is clocked higher out of the box, and for gaming, clock rates are what matters when talking about the same CPU architecture. The 6300 will have the same overclocking potential as the 8320. Spending 40% more for identical gaming performance doesn't make a whole lot of sense, to be honest.

I completely agree with you

The 6350 has a higher core clock, meaning all 6 cores will run at 3.9GHz when gaming. The boost won't apply when gaming to all cores, but the core clock rate will be better. It's also binned higher, meaning it's a *usually* better quality chip. The 8320 is binned the lowest, meaning it has lower quality, which in turn leads to overclockability.

Again, for gaming, the 6350 would be a better choice than an 8320. I would recommend the 6350 over the 8320.
