Hi Folks,

Mechalor (from Gamehippo) says at my Caiman Forum
(http://www.caiman.us/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=5) that I have to write
longer descriptions for my games. Hmmm... I prefer the short ones. What
do you think about?

Thraumatic chilhood experience? Works everytime...

maybe 5 (or rather 6) gradations are not enough for him.
I have a bit ofthat problem. If 2 games are both worth 5 stars, whitch one
is better? Especialy if they are alike, I just want to know whitch one I
should get if I only want to download and install one. I know, it is sad,
but non-the-less true... 🙂

But because I like % ratings, it does not mean you chould alter your scoring
rate, after all, I'm just a single person, who will return to your site,
whatever rating system you got

What about letting users rate the game and providing descriptions or
reviews? ie, if i download a game from your website then after i download
it i should be able to rate it and or review it. and then it would tally up
the rating and give the number of stars accordingly and adjust the number of
stars accordingly. for example, if one user liked it then it and gave it
five stars then it would be posted as five stars but if two people come
after the last user and find the game mediocre or lame and give stars
accordingly then it would adjust the total and numer of stars accordingly..
does this make sense ? (something but not quite like amazon or similiar
sites) all we would really need from you is what ver of windows it runs
best on, the minimum and recommended systems requirements, whether or not it
is an install game, what category or categories it falls under, ya know, the
"basic" stuff. it would actually cut down on the work you'd have to put
towards the site (by making the site more interactive) so you can play more
games. 😱)

I like short descriptions. All I need to know about a game is the
genre, size and how many stars. So, IMHO you don't have to change
anything 🙂
