Hello,

I am going to purchase a CyberpowerPC soon and have been building systems on the site for a week now. Depending on the deal, I either build a system from the Viper series, the Mega Special IV or the gamer xtreme xt. I change the specs on each series to the following things. Can you look them over and let me give me some advice?

Things that would help are, "You dont need that motherboard you can get this one instead..."

"This case is better and almost the same price..."
Etc Etc.

Mainly I do video editing, photoshop, internet, and LIGHT gaming.

OK. I am a proffesional and take my advice sireausly.
You DO NOT need 12gb of RAM. 6b will do JUST FINE and more.
You only MIGHT need 12 if you use VIRTUAL MACHINES. Ok, so GREAT cpu.
You should also go with ATI since you mobo is Crossfire. A ati 5770 would be good.

I heard that about the RAM before that 6gb is more then enough. I just remember purchasing my first computer and being told 256mb is all you will ever need....and a year later I was buying RAM to put into it. I do a lot of multitasking....and sometimes have 5-6 programs running at the same time like photoshop, after effects, etc etc.
In after effect you can preview a rendering in RAM and i figured 12 gb would be better for that
