Lookin at getting msi 980

Can anyone offer me and kind of review with this card vs other 980 like evga or asus ? is there any diference as far as reliability ?

People will say that MSI has quality control issues. I've tried to find the numbers but never really had any luck. I personally like EVGA and have never had a problem with them. As for performance, there is little difference between any of the major players.

I've had my MSI 980 for 9 months and never had a problem. It's had an overclock dialled in since day one too. It's a great quiet card, but saying that though any 980 from from the big manufacturers will be excellent. People have their preferences. I'd happy go MSI again, but I have my eyes on an EVGA next.

speaking as someone who had to make this decision recently the 980 is not a good value for your dollar. 970 is a much better buy in terms of performance for cost. or jump to a 980ti for a 35% boost the 980 is kinda the middle road that doesn't do either of those things very well.
