Ok guys current build is pretty old except for the Graphics Card.
AMD FX 6300 Over clocked to 4.3
Gigabyte 990 FX UD7 Motherboard
8 gigs of 2133 DDR3
Samsung Evo 850 SSD
GTX 970
Corsair Gaming PS 850
Started thinking about upgrading the following
MSI X99A SLI PLUS LGA 2011-v3 Intel X99 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Intel Core i7-5820K Haswell-E 6-Core 3.3 GHz LGA 2011-v3 140W BX80648I75820K Desktop Processor
and keep the GTX 970
The problem is by the time I build this thing I am looking at 1300 to 1500. I dont really seem to see this being a much better system at the moment. I mean the forward compatability of being on the 2011v3 socketset would be good but right now I dont think my system is bottlenecking at the CPU. I really only play right now World of Tanks and StarCitizen (which is far from Optimized.) I do want to play it in 4K or VR. Should I just wait or bite the bullet.
