Hi, I’m from Indonesia and I’m trying to find a good monitor.

I’m gonna use my monitor mainly for playing games. my current monitor is packing 60hz and is pretty old. I wont throw away my current monitor or anything like that. Instead I’m going to use my current monitor for a second display, because I’m too tired to alt tab while playing then wait for the game to load again.

Currently looking for a 1920x1080 resolution, 24-27", 144hz TN/IPS monitor. I had found a monitor (AOC G2460PF) and thought that this was the monitor that I’m going to buy. Although later on i found out that it had a lot of things that i don’t need. Like height adjustments, swivel, and freesync (because I’m using Nvidia). Anything else was what i wanted.

Also, it's priced at 281.5$(Rp. 3.950.000) and thats above my budget, which is 261.8(Rp. 3.650.000).

I don’t really care what brand I prefer, though if can i want to get the popular ones.

I’m also using GALAX GTX 1060 OC. It can support 3 displays and have an output of HDMI(what I’m trying to get) and DVI-D(what my current monitor/2nd monitor use).

This monitor will be my primary, while my current monitor will be my secondary.

Thanks to anyone who have read to here, hope you guys can help.

Ignore Fred, because you are on a budget and you wont get a better monitor than the one you mentioned.
Also you don't want to use HDMI as many times HDMI can be limited to 60Hz (please read about HDMI) DVI is better because it is basically Display Port, which is the one you should use.
Just because the monitor comes with these features, you probably won't get a monitor that has won as many awards as the AOC.
Also if you wanted a Gsyn monitor you will be spending an Extra $100 USD because Nvidia charge at least that to use Gsync. With Freesync, you can still get 144hz with the Nvidia.

I don’t really know what VA is. IPS just has better colors right? and they're more expensive, i feel like i don’t need it.

Is it a really big difference or just a tad bit?

IPS is nice, you can see it is better, but you are going to be paying for it. Of course the more money you have the better the equipment is... it's how it works.
But you can just as easily buy a crappy IPS and will be sorely disappointed compared to the AOC (also they have a newer model out now)
