Looking for 28" monitor: 2k or 4k? G-sync or not?

I'm looking to get a new monitor, with a max budget of ~£300.

My requirements: 28" and at least 2k at 60Hz.

I have been looking at the Acer CB280HK, and despite some complaints about ghosting, I'd feel happy with the monitor, except the lack of G-sync does worry me at 4k, will tearing ruin the experience?

I was looking for a 2k monitor with G-sync, but the problem is the price, I can't find a 28" monitor for around £300, and at that point I start to think it just isn't worth it.

I don't really care about a higher refresh rates, so I'm not bothered about getting a 120Hz or 144Hz monitor.

So the main question is can I get a monitor with my requirements and G-sync, and if not what would you recommend? Thanks.

Thanks for the reply,

I figured this would be the outcome, any thoughts on a 4k or 2k monitor without g-sync?

When they do come down I will probably consider upgrading, but I'd like a new monitor soon and the cost of G-sync is currently high enough that I doubt I'd want to pay for it any time in the near future.

I'm not sure I would choose it over the Acer CB280HK since they are pretty similar apart from I can get the Acer cheaper and it has VESA mounts.
