Approximate Purchase Date: January-March 2018

Budget Range: $3500-4500

System Usage from Most to Least Important: 4k video editing in Adobe Premiere / After Effects, Music Production / Midi virtual instruments with Kontakt 5 / Cubase 9 Pro / 4k Gaming

Are you buying a monitor: open for suggestions, have an LG 27" 4k which I can barely read and scaling messes up premiere pro.

Parts to Upgrade: Whole New PC

Do you need to buy OS: Yes, windows 10 Pro

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: b&h, Amazon, newegg

Location: Sacramento, CA

Parts Preferences: Open, but looking for horsepower to drive above. Had good luck with Intel and EVGA.

Overclocking: Yes

SLI or Crossfire: No

Your Monitor: 27" LG UHD 60hz IPS

Additional Comments: I want this build to have low latency with Kontakt 5 / Cubase with my Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol S61 midi controller. I currently have a focusrite 2i4 second generation interface.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: higher Latency with music production in my x99 5820k build and gifting my second older PC to my parents. Wife and I run a video production business so need a second rig.
