Question Looking for a 100hz+ either 1440p or 4k monitor.

Aug 1, 2013
1. What Is Your Country Of Origin?:

United States of America

2. What do you plan to do with this monitor?

(ex. Games, Movie Watching, Photo Editing, etc.): Gaming mainly, some light video editing but rarely.

3. What resolution and screen size do you want?

Either a 1440p monitor at either 27" or 32" or 4k monitor at 32"

4. What refresh rate do you want?

(ex. 60 hz , 70 hz.) At least 100hz

5. How much are you looking to spend?

I'm willing to go up to 500$ for the 1440p and 800 for the 4k (Though for both I might entertain just a TAD higher, maybe even up to $1000 for the 4k one)

6. Brands Preferred (ex. Samsung, Acer, Asus, AOC, HP, Viewsonic, etc. ):

Really, just reputable brands. But I've used and have had good experiences with both Samsung and Asus before.

7. Brands Not Preferred (state reason why):

8. Are You Buying More Than One Monitor?

9. How Many Displays Can Your GPU Support Maximum? And what GPU and driver version are you using if applicable?:

I'm not sure how many it can support. It's an RTX 2070 Super. (See Signature for full build)

10. What Port Do You Want To Connect To (ex. DVI-D, HDMI, etc).

I'd like to connect this monitor with DisplayPort.

11. Is This Monitor A Primary Display Or A Secondary Display?:

This would replace my Primary display.

12. Is This A Secondary Display For A Laptop?:

Additional Notes:

  • Check Signature for my full build
  • I would not mind if it's curved but it doesn't matter to me really.
  • The Monitor I need to be IPS
  • Since I have an NVidia GPU, a monitor with G-sync, or at least G-sync compatible would be great, but once again not necessary.
