Looking for a 300W AMD Graphics Card $100-150

Hey guys I am looking for a AMD Graphics Card to upgrade my existing rig. It only has a 300W power supply. I am looking to spend 100-150 dollars. I had a look at the R7 260X from Gigabyte but it recommends a 450W power supply(I find this a bit overkill). Wondering what other people would recommend to me. Thank you.

R5 230, R5 220, HD 4550, HD4350, HD 3450 all need a 300W PSU to run the PC with one of them in.

I was looking for a card with a bit more power but if these are the highest I can go then thanks I will choose one of them

There's some stronger nVidia cards that only need 300W. But not much from AMD.

Here is a list of system power requirements based on pretty much any graphics card available. Note that the listed power is for the entire system.

Also you can get a quality ~550w power supply that can run anything but the higher end AMD and highest end Nvidia cards for around $50 usually.

There's some stronger nVidia cards that only need 300W. But not much from AMD.

Could I have some nvidia suggestions then? I might consider based on the price

I would also question the quality of an unknown 300w OEM power supply as well. It may very well only be capable of putting out closer to 200 watts than 300w depending on how it's rated.

I agree but sadly my friend bought the PC and doesn't know anything about changing out a power supply and lives in another state so there isn't much I can do for him. He just needs something of decent quality to slap in there to work with a integrated 300W power supply
