Hello dear community,

Thank you for checking this thread out, i'll try to make it quick :)

I live in an area where I get a very poor 3g/4g signal which makes using a 4g router very unstable for gaming because the signal fluctuates a lot.

I tried the 4g router from boost mobile that runs on sprint 4g network, i was able to play online games well until the ping spikes from time to time due to poor signal as mentioned above... it was one of those small routers that are battery powered...

I was wondering if i can get a 3g or 4g router that has a stronger "Receiving" Signal so my connection would become stable. I don't know if such a thing is possible. Doesn't matter what it is or what network it takes.

I have no option to install cable or dsl so that is out of the equation :/

Thanks folks :)

Best bet is to place the router outdoors with external LTE antenna and then run ethernet into the house. You are very limited in routers that you can use with sprint. Most other vendors you could use a dongle and place the dongle outside and hook it to a asus or tplink.

The sprint router is rated for very high heat so you put it a waterproof box and it would work. It also runs on PoE so power is good.

To really get LTE on sprint you need antenna that support 2.5g band. You also must have 2 of them to get full speed.

This is photo of how you mount them.
