Looking for a budget gaming computer (500$-600$)

Hello, I am thinking about building a 500$-600$ budget gaming computer. I would prefer to play skyrim, as my current computer can't handle it. I'm not looking for a future proof build, just a simple lighter end gaming computer with decent RAM, processor, and GPU. I have chosen Windows 7 as the operating system. I am open to any suggestions and questions. Thanks ahead if time for helping this novice computer builder

If you can swing it, move up from the first gen FX processor to the 2nd gen FX 4300/4350 instead. Or the FX 6300/6350.

Compatibility wise, yes. With the possible exception of the 212 EVO not fitting the narrow 7.68" wide NZXT case. The 212 EVO is 6 1/4" tall. I would be concerned that it would be too tall to close the side cover on the case.

I would definitely push for an fx 6300 and 8gb of ram. I tweaked it up a bit but still coming in under budget

@ OP
...also be aware that with a single stick of memory, you will not have access to the slightly faster dual channel memory mode. You need MATCHING sticks in opposite channels for dual channel to be in effect.
