looking for a budget graphics card, old mobo

I have a pc that my kids use solely to play wow and civ 5. Not looking to seriously upgrade it, just a small boost to the gfx capability.

Specs: Striker extreme mobo, core duo e8600, NVidia 9600GT, 4gb ram, windows 10.

Just looking for a new graphics card to boost the capabilities a bit until I hand down my own pc in a year or two. Happy with secondhand/refurbished. Not sure what can be supported on this old mobo, know it will be limited but looking for some advice.

You should be able to use pretty much any video card that will fit in the case and can run on the power supply in the system. For a cheap card, GT730 GDDR5 is good. Lots faster than the 9600.

Gtx 560ti would be a decent card. Some newer cards have issues with old motherboards.
