I'm currently looking for a new pc and am having trouble choosing a graphics card that fits my needs. I'm looking for one that would be able to run 3 screens at 1080p maxed out. I was thinking I should get 2x gtx 750 ti's or a gtx 760. Any other ideas?

Solution
No.Those two cards cant run 1080p in 3 monitors. You atleast need a 6gb video memory to play games in 3 monitors..Get two GTX 760's....one with 2gb and other with 4gb and sli them......that could be sufficient...Two GTX 750ti would be sufficient playing in two monitors. If your are on a low budget Get Two R9 270x.one with 4gb and other with 2gb and crossfire them.Otherwise you face severe lag..So better buy 2 R9 270x's .....They'll be futureproof tooooooo

What's the frame rate with the 270x

Also do you think one r9 280x or a 770 would work

I have a 770 and I can run a single 1080p monitor any game at the highest video quality with no problems. To play on three monitors with max settings is going to require some serious gpu power. There isnt really a single card thats under $1000 that can run 3 monitors maxed out. Of the gtx 760, r9 280x, and gtx 770, the gtx 770 will pull a little bit ahead of the 280x. I would recomend getting the largest gpu you can afford right now and then saving up for another down the road. Also, if you have 2 gpus in sli, and one gpu has 2gb of vram, and the other has 4gb of vram, it doesnt equal 6gb of vram. Gpus in sli will only use the smaller of the 2 vrams. To put it in simple terms, the gpu with 2gb of vram will be bottlenecked by the gpu with 4gb of vram, (from a vram point of view, not a performance point of view)

Yes.R9 280x and GTX 770 would work easily. And using two R9 270x's you can even get better framerates. But i would go with GTX 770 or R9 280x for future proof.Just select it as best answer if it helped you...

Go for a GTX 750 ti as it has NVIDIA GameStream, GPU Boost 2.0, 3D Vision, CUDA, DirectX 11, PhysX, TXAA, Adaptive VSync, FXAA, NVIDIA Surround, G-SYNC-ready and also requires very low PSU power 300watts and can run almost all the good games at high settings and it has a quiet low price.

Why get any of the GTX series when the R9 series are a bit better then the 750's and 760's... I run 2 R9 270X and they're better then my friends 690. I have 3 monitors running off of them while I game.
