Looking for a build for gaming (PUBG) that would cost me around £1800

Like the title states, I'm am looking to build a gaming pc for around £1800.


Purchase date: After 2080 is released (hoping graphics card drops in price a little)

Budget: £1800

System Usage (most important to least important): gaming

Parts not required: Peripherals and hdd is not needed. No need for an os.

Current pc has a dying i5-4690k, gtx1060 and samsung 850 pro ssd that I can use but ideally new is better.

Preferred websites: no preferences

Country: UK

Part preferences: None. Best

Overclocking: yes if possible

SLI or Crossfire: no

Monitor resolution: 144 preferably

A 9600k with a good z370/390 mobo, 2x8gb of 3200mhz rams and a seasonic focus plus, evga g2 / g3 650w psu.

Do you plan on streaming while gaming? Or video editing or anything along those lines? and thats GBP if i'm not mistaken right?

Pretty hard to say at the moment as the 9700K and 9900K are on there way in October...so not long to wait and more importantly, the pricing will dictate which way to go, if the 9700K is priced nicely then that might just be the way to go as the 9900K might well be over £450...but the 8700K is still a stellar gaming CPU sitting at the top of the pile..

The 1080 ti will be plenty of gaming juice, I would say if you want to have the 2080, drop the SSD and with the money get the 2080.
