Hi guys,
I'm back again. Haven't built or changed anything about my old dinosaur in ages, but for some reason i got sparked in building something new. (The ol' Q6600 is slightly outdated).
Now I think i pretty much got it figured out what i want to do.
CPU: Ryzen 5 2600X
MOBO: MSI Performance Gaming B450 Gaming PLUS AM4 or something along those lines.
GPU: Gonna try to see how well my GTX660TI has fared sitting in a case collecting dust.
RAM: 8/16GB of DDR4 2600
PSU: My ol 850W gold out of my old build
HDD: Probably find a cheap 1TB, use my old one and eventually find a SSD.
Also have some random fans kicking around.
Now the hardest part is finding a decent case for this. I would prefer a mid-tower ATX.
I don't care about any of the RGB or that kinda crap, but would like cable management.
My plan is just doing some casual gaming with this rig (yes I know, probably will have to upgrade the GPU in the very near future), so no real intensive cooling is required. Not planning on overclocking or mining. Was kind of thinking of spending $100 on the new case. Let me know guys!
