Looking for a Cheap Gaming Monitor

To make a long story short(-er), about a week ago I accidentally knocked over my monitor. It fell "face" first onto my keyboard. Somehow this destroyed it. Computer can detect the display, but nothing renders. Then screen flashes on and off. Lasting a few seconds each time. Eventually it gives up and stays off. When it is on, there is a big round mark with cracks around it. I can't see this when it is off. I assume the inner screen is cracked or something.

Anyway, the monitor is/was an AOC e2752Vh. After searching for a good deal on a monitor, I couldn't find much. So instead, I looked to repurchase the same monitor again. Unfortunately, it seems this monitor is no longer manufactured. I can find only 1, and at $220, it's out of my price range.

I know enough about most computer components (CPUs, GPUs, Mobos, PSUs, RAM, et cetera) to make an informed decision. With monitors? I have no idea what I should look for. I've looked up information, and a lot seems to be contradictory. So I'm in need of help.

Here's what I'm looking for (I think)...
Max Resolution: 1920 x 1080 (or higher)
Max Response Time: 1ms to 2ms
Price: Less than $150.
Size: 22" or larger.
Primary Purpose: Gaming
Secondary Purpose: Movies/Television (via Netflix/Hulu)

My backup monitor maxes at 1600 x 900. So I definitely want to move up a notch. 1080 should be fine. Anything more than that is out of my price range. (Based on what I've found so far.) While many say there's nothing better than 1 ms response, I'm perfectly happy with 2 ms.

I don't know about refresh rates. Some say I need 144 Hz. Others say 60 Hz is fine. I've read that 144 can make movies look worse. At the same time, I'm reading that 60 makes games look worse. I don't know what to go with. Reading the "Blur Busters" only confused me.

Here are the monitors I'm considering so far:

Acer K2 Series K242HQL cbid (https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16824011066) This is my top choice, but several reviewers say they were sent the wrong model. So instead of a 1 ms response, it has a 5 ms response. I've had problems with Newegg before... So I don't know if it's worth it or not.

AOC E2476VWM6 (https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824160240) I want to stick with AOC since I liked the last one so much, but the reviews for this model are somewhat poor. Many say it has a lot of ghosting. A couple people say they developed vertical lines after just 1 year of casual use.

ASUS VX248H (https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236385) My main concern with this one is that, if I have a problem, dealing with ASUS is, according to the Newegg reviews, very difficult.

AOC e2775SJ (https://www.amazon.com/AOC-e2775SJ-27-Inch-Monitor-1920x1080/dp/B06WVD2X2H/) According to Amazon, this model is the successor to my broken e2752Vh. It seems to have everything I want and need. The price is slightly more than I want to pay, but it's reasonable. My biggest concern is that a lot of reviews indicated dead pixels. I had a dead pixel on my e2752Vh, but it wasn't noticeable 99% of the time.

I'm just not sure. In typing this up, I've nearly convinced myself to get the AOC e2775SJ. I'm open to other opinions and suggestions.

In case it matters, here are the most relevant specs of my computer...
CPU: i7-4770k
GPU: PNY "XLR8" GeForce GTX 960

I'd also go for the AOC. Based on 1,288 Amazon reviews, the Average is 4.3 Stars, which is really good considering the other models aren't quite there. Of-course, if you do end up getting a noticeable dead pixel, request for a refund from Amazon (which my friend has done), as Amazon have a very good customer service.
