Looking for a CPU upgrade, any recommendations?

Hey everyone,

I am looking to upgrade my CPU from my previous Intel Core i3 4130. I'll put my specs below. Right now I am thinking about these processors to upgrade, but I'm unsure which would be the ideal one, if any. I'm looking for something that will be sufficient for gaming and video editing. My previous CPU used an LGA 1150 socket so that's what I assume I have to use for whatever I upgrade. These are some CPUs I'm considering:

PSU: EVGA 600w

CPU: Intel core i3 4130 (3.4 ghz)

Mobo: Biostar b85s3+

Ram: 8gb (1 stick)

GPU: EVGA GTX 1050 Ti

HDD: (2) WD 1 tb (black and blue)

The 4790K is the best CPU for that socket however it's quite expensive, maybe try to find a used version of it? Even a non K version would still be a massive upgrade over your current i3.

An i7-4790K is supported on that motherboard. That is the top end you can get. After that a 4770K and a 4690(K) ...

You will have to buy used. So it will depend on what you can get a deal on.
