Looking for A Cpu upgrade

Im looking for a cpu upgrade what I have now is a amd fx 6300 and my motherboard is a Gigabit 970 a Id like to be able to just swap cpus if able as its the bottle neck in my computer right now.

There isnt any processor worth putting in that motherboard.
