I am thinking about doing a new build. Even though i havent even had my current one for a year.... I cant decide if i am going to go with the FX8370 or the FX8350. Is there reallly that much of a difference. I will be using it mostly for gaming and multitasking. I will most likely get the ASUS Crosshair V Formula AM3+ AMD 990FX mobo.

Ok then the 8370 will be the better choice obviously. It is newer than the slightly more powerful 9370 and is more efficient as well. And you can do some good overclocking if you feel the need. Definitely a good CPU. Worth the money.

I am pretty set on amd. I like them and havent had a problem yet.

I mostly play games. I do a lot of multi tasking and browsing the internet. I program a little too. I am going to do a lot more of that soon though. My current build is

Cooler Master Storm Enforcer ATX Mid Tower Case
Hitachi Deskstar 7K2000 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
AMD 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
Gigabyte GA-F2A88X-UP4 ATX FM2+ Motherboard
AMD Athlon X4 750K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
MSI R9 290
CX750m
I have an optical drive i just dont know what it is.
