Hello i'm looking for a CPU that will be a good match for my GTX 1050 ti i play PUBG but i get around 40-50 fps sometimes 30 and i'm wanting to get a smooth 60 fps experience for the lowest price so i want a motherboard ram and a CPU for around 200 usd i will list my current specs

GTX 1050 TI

AMD Phenom II X6 1090t

12GB of ddr3 ram (looking for ddr4 in my new build)

800w power supply (i got it for free)

ok and thanks for viewing my page also i want to know if a Ryzen 3 1200 is a good upgrade

Solution
Won't happen. Even the beefiest of systems don't get a consistent 60fps in PUBG simply because it's poorly optimized.

That being said, Ryzen 3 1200 is most definitely better than your current CPU, and it will help in both PUBG and many other games. It's also a viable platform at least until 2020, so if you're ever looking for upgrades in the future then that's always a viable option.

you thinking of ryzen 3 1200 or the 1300x witch one should i get? and shroud's pc gets a constant 90+ fps

Ryzen 3 1300X is basically an overclocked 1200 (essentially). I think I would take the 1200 to save some money.

Shroud's PC has a 7700k ($350 CPU that was previously the "gaming king") and a Titan Xp (a $1200 GPU). He also has an entirely separate streaming PC that handles the streaming portion so that his games aren't impacted as heavily (he hasn't used it recently though, I think). I've seen him frame drop sometimes, it's just not that noticeable on streams.

EDIT: My PC with a R7 1700X and a 1070 doesn't keep consistent 60 FPS depending on the area. That's just how poorly PUBG runs.

I would go with the Ryzen three. If you would rather have the option of keeping your ddr3 I would go with a i3 that's the same price OR a Pentium G series which is cheaper. You can find ddr3 lga1151 motherboards on newegg and amazon from $60-$180

6th/7th/8th gen Intel needs DDR4 memory. Ryzen 3 also needs DDR4 memory. If you're upgrading to a newer architecture you will need new RAM. This includes Pentium G4xxx.
