Hey Guys, I'm looking for a good liquid / air cooler for my computer,

I have an i7 4770k with CM K350, I already have a CM Seidon 120XL, Which i think is a bit poor really lol.

Any help would be appreciated.

IMHO, go with an air cooler other than the frequently parroted Hyper212 EVO, which is not a bad cooler but is a bang/buck Loser. http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-2478892/alternatives-hyper-212-evo-budget-cooling.html is a list of alternatives. Air coolers tend to be quieter (especially if you're NOT spending big bucks), and tend not to take a leak in your case. OTOH, if you move your case around a lot, a big air cooler can put a lot of stress on a motherboard; drop the system accidentally and you may even crack the board. Unless you intend to go for really high overclocks though, one of the modest air coolers from that list should do well for you.

The 120XL isn't exactly poor.. Overall...

It's just horribly overpriced per it's performance, and has way too much competition both cheaper and more expensive. It won't deliver more than a mild overclock on most chips.

For air coolers it's kind of broken down like this

212 Evo/Plus < Cryorig H5 < Noctua D14/15

If you're buying an air cooler, and it's not one of these, you're either wasting money or just simply not getting the most for it. For liquid I like to think of the H100i as the bare minimum, to be worth it for the money. There's way better, even for closed loops. Even better for the same price as the H100i. It's just the most well known/used so it's simple to use as the cut off.

I've always been partial to an AIO water cooling block myself; there is an argument over noise and the obvious leak risk but I've never had trouble with either. I've a H100i GTX hooked up, and it's practically silent and keeps the processor at a 25c idle.

As stated above, large air coolers can place extra stress on the motherboard. Plus, personal preference, I'd rather see something else than a massive heatsink and fan assembly if I open the case.
