Hello People,
This is my first time posting a question on this website. So please forgive my mistakes. Also, English is my third language, so please bear with me
So, Coming to the point, I have recently joined a college and I am in dire need of a laptop. I have never owned a laptop before and i don't have much knowledge about it. I have had a PC for over 6 years now and I use it primarily for gaming purposes. I want to buy a laptop which is better than my desktop for gaming, but not too costly either.
My PC specs:
1) Intel Core 2 Quad 2.40 GHz Q6600 ( 4MB L2 Cache)
2) Kingston 4GB (2x2GB) 1333 MHz RAM
3) Gigabyte G41-M combo mobo http://postimg.org/image/g4wl5abvv
4) Seagate 7200 RPM SATA HDD http://postimg.org/image/3yet0od2r
5) VIP SMPS 480 W power supply http://postimg.org/image/9q43wzli3
6) NVIDIA GeForce 9400 GT 1GB GPU
I will most probably buy the HP 15-r022TX Notebook (J6M27PA)

All is fine with it, but i am worried about the processor. 1.7 GHz seems too low and the general requirements of today's games cross 2.7 GHz, Will the processor bottleneck it? Will it be quite a bit better than my PC?
My budget is around INR 40k to INR 50k ( USD 645-833)
I am a bit of a noob considering this, so please explain in simpler terms.
I thank you all in advance
[ P.S: Can you tell me that which component of my desktop is causing the bottleneck? I don't think that it is performing as much as it should. ]
